Is This the Triumph Sportbike Fairing Kit Of Your Wildest Dreams?

Are you a Triumph Daytona fan? No, I’m not talking about the current Daytona 660, though I’ll still maintain that it’s a fine bike for what it is. Only thing is, it isn’t a triple. And by now, I’m sure you know all about Triumph and the magic its engineers work with triples, right?

Anyway, if you want something a little bigger than the Daytona 675R, and also a bit more modern than the Daytona 990, then you’ll be happy to know that the fine folks at S2 Concept are right there with you.

That’s why they’ve come up with this fantastic-looking set of race fairings that are designed to fit the 2021 through 2024 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS and RR.

Seriously, look at this kit. Is it not pretty much what you’d want out of a modern-day Daytona 1200?

It’s designed as a plug-and-play solution, says S2; with all fastener holes marked and/or drilled, and Dzus fasteners pre-installed. All the hardware you’ll need to put this on your Speed Triple 1200 is included, as well. The body panels are made from a fiberglass and resin mixture with a black gelcoat finish, and S2 also utilizes carbon/Kevlar reinforcement at all attachment points for extra strength. The front fairing has quick-mounts so you can get it on and off with ease.

Now, you might ask, what’s all this magnificence going to cost you? The price at present is € 1,195.83 from the French company, which works out to about US $1,357 at the time of writing. How you feel about that price will likely depend, at least in part, on whether you already have a Speed Triple 1200 this can fit on at home, or whether you’ve been waiting to get your hands on one and are just at the point where you’re ready to shell out the cash.

It looks like a nice, tidy way to give your Speed Triple 1200 that extra little boost into an alternate timeline, one where a Daytona 1200 snarls down the track with wild abandon. What do you think, once you come out of your happy triple-induced reverie? Let us know in the comments.
